Potentiated probiotics
are bio-products containing probiotic strains of microorganisms and synergistically acting components of natural origin. They are arranged so that their effect is demonstrated in both small and large intestine:
Small intestine
Lactobacilli:
- adherence on the intestinal epithelium
- film of lactobacilli
- maintaining the pH by formation of lactic acid
- production of enzymes - supporting digestion
- production of vitamins
Maltodextrin:
- supporting effects of lactobacilli
Colon
Fructooligosaccharides:
- supporting growth of symbiotic microflora, mainly lactobacilli and bifidobacteria
maintaining a lower pH:
- suppress the multiplication of pathogenic microorganisms
- regulation of enzyme activity
- reduce the amount of toxic and carcinogenic substances
